A.P.P.L.E. VOLUNTEER ROLES
2018-2023 A-Team

Co-President – Melanie McQueen and Telicia Moore
The Co-President of AP.P.L.E. has the chief responsibility to further the organization's mission and vision. He/She will oversee all aspects of the A.P.P.L.E. body. He/She is the official spokesperson for A.P.P.L.E., responsible for calendar and meeting planning, and managing and building resource relationships.
Vice President – Open
The Vice-President helps to formulate long-range plans and assist with any parent concerns and school issues that arise while encouraging parent involvement and participation in the organization.
Secretary - Open
The Secretary takes the meeting minutes, reads the minutes from the last meeting for approval, reads A.P.P.L.E. correspondence and emails, sets the meeting agenda, schedules speakers, updates the A.P.P.L.E. FB Page and A.P.P.L.E. website.
A.P.P.L.E. S.E.E.D. Scholarship Committee Chair - Open
The scholarship committee creates the scholarship application, sets the requirements and promotes the open and close application date. The committee will review applications with A.P.P.L.E. officers. This committee is responsible for raising funds for the operating costs of the A.P.P.L.E. organization and the A.P.P.L.E. S.E.E.D. SCHOLARSHIP which has a goal of $1000 annually.
A.P.P.L.E. Community Liaison – Open
The A.P.P.L.E. Community Liaison(s) has the pulse on the OPRF community and apprises A.P.P.L.E. of critical involvement in the community and serves as a representative of A.P.P.L.E. and attends community meetings, and reports back to the A.P.P.L.E. on the meeting attended.
Student Representative - (4) Open
This position is held by OPRFHS students, preferably 1 student per class, to speak on behalf of their student body of any roadblocks, concerns the students need help with and to share GOOD NEWS!
